AI psychosis"
"I think AI psychosis (trying to make sure your agents are working all the time) is probably a worse addiction than social media."
Practical AI tutorials and interviews for busy people"——从 Codex 定时任务到 Claude Code 的 /loop 功能,他做的内容横跨整个 AI agent 工具链。
独立设计师、Product Hunt 年度 Maker Pascal Pixel(@PascalPixel,1.2 万粉丝)写道:"I can't sleep if they're running though… I dream about the tasks, I wake up early like I need to make a flight. I deliberately turn them off in the evening now…"——不止是成瘾,而是已经干扰到了睡眠。
That's why loops are fun. You don't have to make sure, or watch them, they just are working. As part of the design."——用更好的系统设计来消解"盯盘"的欲望。
AI agent infra 工程师 Mr. BigCheese(@cheese_big80393)描述了一幅更扎心的画面:"AI Psychosis for me has been: Can I turn everything I do day to day into an agent loop? And then me spending hours/days going in circles trying to improve it. And then barely using it 🤣"——花了数天优化 agent,最后几乎不用。
Don't even care about the output, just need the spinners spinning."(@maxxspotter)——不在乎跑出了什么,只要那个转圈圈还在转。
We need a different word for this, because AI psychosis is a serious issue that is totally separate from wanting to maximize agent productivity… I propose 'token fomo'."
另一个提案来自 @jesse_why_dude:"That sounds more like 'AI hypnosis'."——不是疯了,是被催眠了。
From checking likes to checking logs."——从刷点赞到刷日志。
"Feels like gambling."(@Sdefendre)
"On a related note, I think it's closer to gambling than people would like to admit: you're spending money on unpredictable outcomes."(@ihaveint_jk, Jay Zare)
"More addictive than slot machines."(@JasonDigital, Jason Barrett, 1.1
tweet 发出后,@just_adev(前 HuggingFace 成员)评论道:"we will discover many new addictions with AI. and it will be the worst."
Ethan Bloch(@ebloch, OpenAI Personal Finance 负责人)写道:"To me it feels more like making art. Which I consider one of the more pure and rewarding things humans can do." 会计行业的 AI 倡导者 Brandon Burr(@brandonburr1986)更直接:"It's way more productive than social media. Trying to attach a pejorative to it to downplay its significance is peak denialism."
One failure mode I see is that people glaze over AI's plans. You want to make sure it's something you read."
Brian Decoded(@briandecoded, 6.4 万粉丝)言简意赅:"AI psychosis is relatively easy to solve. Just get better agents." DevOps 博主 Dave(@devops_withdave)则从工程哲学角度补充:"if your ai stack needs constant supervision, it's not really autonomous. good engineering isn't about adding more agents. it's about building systems over time that are observable, resilient, and require less human attention over time."
AI 创始人 Sean Talbot(@SeanPTalbot, SlipstreamAI)的选择是"让另一个 agent 帮我看 agent"。 They used to call us AI vampires. But I truly believe it is a new kind of addiction that should be studied."
Dave Mellish(@RobertDMellish)用了精妙的类比:"but, I mean, i'm also addicted to water"——水也是"成瘾"的,但它是生命必需品。
Peter Yang 自己在前一天的另一条推文中,给出了他版本的解法:"spending an entire day staring at screens trying to manage agents fries my brain. Much better to be walking around outside talking to the agents 'on the phone' giving them work to do and having them update me on status via voice."——不是戒掉 agent,而是改变交互方式。
